Skins

For skinners
Please leave space on the front side of the door for the official driver number plate. The livery.png and ac_crew.dds will be done by me for uniformity reasons, send me a PM to receive your driver number plates, and my email address to send your skin to (no need for the .psd or gimp project files). If you're new to skinning check out our skinning tutorial.

A driver number plate is mandatory, and provided by the series host. Post below, send me a PM, ask on Steam or Discord for a driver number plate if you're skinning yourself. It's for both sides of the car, I will email it to the address you're using on this forum.

For teams and drivers in need of a skin
You can request a skin to be made for you; provide a simple livery as reference if you like, or just a few colors (preferred!); for example red, white and blue. 

A skin takes me anywhere from half an hour up to six hours, depending on the linework I already have and the complications of the UV map (the way a flat image is displayed on a 3D model), please understand that I like those hours to be fun and don't like to do complicated exact replica's, cars for cosy regulars and team cars get more attention as well .



Teams

Maximum of 3 drivers per team, minimum of two drivers per team. All team members have to drive the same car, which has to be instantly recognisable as being a team car; cars of team members may differ in secondary or third color.

You can replace one driver during the series once, but have to announce it before the race where you're going to use the new driver (scores of the replaced driver will still count up until that point). 

You can permanently drop a driver during the series; this slot cannot be taken by a different driver and all previous results for the team of the dropped driver do no longer count. This is an advantage whenever a Pro-am driver does not deliver the expected minimum amount of races, and the team is better of with just a Pro and Am driver.

You can also use multiple drivers for one slot. This is useful when there's multiple drivers who are not sure if they can make enough races. Only one driver from a shared slot can score points for a team in that race. Teams have to post ahead of the race which drivers are eligible for team points when there are multiple drivers from a single slot running in that race.

Teams can consist of:
- one Pro driver and one Am driver; best five results from every driver count
- two Pro-am drivers; best five results from every driver count
- one from each division; best three results count from Pro and Am drivers, best four from Pro-am driver
- two Pro-am drivers and one Am driver; best four scores and best three scores + half of fourth best score count for pro-am drivers. Am: best three scores
The option for one Pro driver and and Pro-am driver has been dropped!

Because I cannot guarantee to attend a certain number of races, I prefer to share a Pro-Am drivers-slot. Otherwise, I'll also accept a privateer position.

Car:
I'm inclined to go for the least favorite car, which I currently believe is the McLaren 570S. If this changes to a different least favorite car, I'll make the switch to that car. --> I'll make a post about my definitive car choice after the final testing session and after some others have posted their car choice in this thread.

Lambo for me - unless I notice a big change between it and the Ferrari this evening. It's a case of taking the practical choice rather than the pleasurable one.

I'm  in doubt in choosing one of these 3, with a strong emphasis on the first 2... 488 GTB, Huayra, 911 GT3 RS. Looking for a team to run in, as a ProAm. Seems the options are 2xProAm or Pro+ProAm+Am. Not sure about just ProAm+Am. Any benefit to it compared to 2xProAm?

No McLaren for me (I can't put up with it even with no traffic around), and no Lambo (I don't find it that fun - actually I think I didn't even have the curiosity to have driven it ).

More feedback on the cars I like:
- 488 GTB - well on par with others, and in my opinion the most satisfying to drive and push to the limit. Seemed to lack a bit of corner exit in Okayama, was really struggling before the main straight. Lambo gaining 0.5s at least there on me if I was acing it, maybe up to 1s if I was losing a bit of grip. It lacks a tiny bit of braking, but it's ok mid-corner. It's good for smooth corners and tightening corners, but it really sucks on slow longer corners (2nd gear corners mostly).
- Huayra - again, on par. Has an edge on the straights, like the McLaren (maybe a bit less). Has good braking, but not so good corner exit. Still better corner exit than the 488, if you don't overdo it. Less predictable than the 488 when putting the power down out of corners, but great fun.
- 911 - lacks some power, but on tracks with many corners (especially slower ones), compensates well by its nice cornering abilities and corner entry and exit. I tested it and the 488 on Lausitzring and it was about just as fast, which is neat.
