The last round of the Local Rally League sees everyone travelling to Finland where four wheel drive rallying awaits in the form of the Subaru Impreza. Colin MacRae won the World Rally Championship with this very car in 1995.

This rally follows a slightly different format, with 4 short stages followed by 1 long stage.

At this super fast rally, where the slightest slip can launch a car into the unforgiving trees, the Cosy Local Rally League is poised for an exciting finish. No less than 5 drivers can still win the championship.

A first, second or third place for DeLof secures him the championship.

A win for either Ceolmor or S4b1n, with DeLof finishing 4th or below will give the rally winner overall honours.

And mr_urlauber and Nick can still win the championship if either of them wins the rally and those ahead of them fail to finish.

So, do you push and risk a DNF, or do you take a more cautious approach?

Managed to complete all stages with again stock setup, no shakedowns etc. Throughout the stages I had more damage than the engineers could fix within 30 minutes and even had to use reset vehicle option (+10 sec?) when the floor of my car was resting on a little pointy rock Sad

The jumps were crazy, with the car bouncing all over the place!

You know what's scary? Finland. You know what's more scary? Finland at night. And then your headlights brake half through the stage.... got one big 17s penalty for reset but otherwise quite smooth through Suomi.

Well after that I can't say the Subaru is my favourite car. Steering felt vague. Also, I lost count of the times the engine stalled and I had to restart the engine after stopping, loosing time.

Anyway, the rally and series are nicely poised.

17 seconds separate 1st and 3rd places.

Currently, DeLof wins the series from Ceolmor and then mr-urlauber third.

If you want to be on the podium, you have until midnight tomorrow (Sunday).

Dammit, wanted to, but forgot because I was working on a project. Only finished just before the pre season event of the upcoming series. Next time I'll book my session earlier in the week.. Sad

Props for running this series btw Ceolmor! I just keep postponing my Dirt Rally time, and my weekends are sometimes a mess. Hope you're doing another one Smile

I would be interested of course. Wasn't able to finish the previous one due to some last minute stuff I had to do before leaving for holidays.
