Good stuff after Tsukuba!
I don't know what it is, but I really don't like the Tsukuba mod; it feels weird and kerbs are very awkward. Don't know if that's just me. Again props for that overtake in heat 2 Ed! Top work! Okayama was nice, and heat 2 was brilliant with the six cars very close to each other on the first half of the race.
The River Circuit is a bit difficult of course, and the first heat I let Ed slide past only to see him actually take first because of a spin by the other two ahead. Second heat I made an, what may well be one of my best, overtake on Vohryzek, who was almost impossible to pass!
Super close, tight racing. There was only one moment I was a bit annoyed by, but it reminded me of ricciardo vs bottas collision at hungary.
It was turn 2 lap 1 at Okayama. I had made an awesome start, and was getting past a couple cars on the outside of the turn. Just on the exit of the turn I was hit on my back right corner. Yes, this wasn't too similar to the f1 collision. But what was similar was the risk.
Trying to overtake on the oustide of a corner puts you at high risk of a collision. You are dependent on the car on the inside taking the corner perfectly. By only giving the minimum amount of room, any mistake made by the inside car, and you pay the price.
Not that I will stop going for overtakes, but just need to remember, this is racing, and mistakes happen. Especially lap one on a tight track with so many cars in a small area!
Tsukuba was awesome. Yes those kerbs really unsettle the car. You could ride them, but only with a lot of care. Managed to get past rova at the start of heat 1, and defended the position til the end. Awesome battle mate!
Looking forward to the highlight video, Minder and I were really stuck behind Vohryzek, need to see how you did that pass sven!
I really enjoyed all the tracks, it was really difficult for me to get used to River because I normally use it for learning drift transitions, so I had no idea of racing lines.
Race 1 at Tsukuba was so intense, great job ed defending that first position, and sorry for the little bump at t4 at 2 mins to go Race 2 at Okayama was simply brilliant, it was so awesome seeing all those cars so close to each others! Shame I made a couple of major mistakes, I would have appreciated being there till the end
