I'm in, not maybe now also there is some fixed setup mentioned, when it will be released?

Honestly, unless Sven does something really evil with the setup, the Tatuus FA01 is really forgiving to drive. Even if you get understeer, then a gentle stroke of the brakes usually pulls the nose back in. It's a real pleasure to drive this thing fast and it really highlights how twitchy (but fun in a different way) the 80's elite cars were in comparison.

17 In's so far, one slot remaining! Anyone after that will be on the reserves list.
(Magione only has 18 pit boxes)

I would like that 18th spot if I may?

Wow, 18 drivers; this is going to be fantastic! Sven have we got 18 skin variations for the Abarth??
And please someone, make sure you remind me to save my replays from these races! If there was ever a chance to make a sort of flavour video for this group then having at 18 car race would be fantastic to see.
Yep, make sure you download this skin pack, as linked in the first post as well:
Skins: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads...ins.13697/ Practice server with fixed setups up btw.

I have to switch to maybe, as I may be too tired to make it after a long weekend

Then this is a very good day to practice your trail braking I honestly don't see how it could "understeer like crazy" since all I did were slight changes from the default setup that make it slightly looser. I think you're just braking too late?
Not changing anything anymore at this point unless there's a massive rejection of this setup. I think you're just braking too late? I guess I just never raced it with default setup or medium tyres. Anyway, car feels great overall, imo, maybe just doesn't suit my driving manner

Just had a few good laps with Nowai (cheers ) and it’s come back to me how I suck at single seaters!
Wind mod is awesome and more realistic tho!

After realising that my brake pedal was spiking with accelerating during first 3 races, (which probably contributed to me being punted off in the first 2); the last race was much more fun.
Had a good battle with Offcorsa (so sorry for hitting you ), and DIMAVIKA, for a while, before making a silly mistake, then just had to try and catch Barry MY POV:

Ah, I didn't make it home in time for it. I have a similar issue sometimes with my acceleration spiking up when I'm not touching any pedal. It's a bit strange and I haven't found any fix other than reboot

Seems to be a USB issue for me, last week I had major problems with wheel and pedals.
I’m guessing I am right on the limit with devices, with wheel/pedal/shifter/VR hmd/cameras/jetseat/fans/mouse/keyboard/s etc! The pedals just need calibrating much more often it seems - will have to try straight to motherboard connection and see if it’s more stable.

Was good fun, although I'm not a very big fan of this type of cars, mostly because the throttle is at most times an on/off switch, braking feels quite weird and collisions seem even more common than in closed wheel cars.
Nonetheless some solid results, but in the fourth race my wheel apparently overheated and force feedback dropped, spinning me off a kerb. Caught up with two other cars before spinning again on the second to last corner, this time because of both an all-or-nothing move and then again finding out that it's nearly impossible to recover without FFB

Great racing yesterday. I love these cars, since I can push without losing as much control. Also, managing tyres was fun to me. The racing seemed pretty clean, too. Especially cosy driving from Rova, who was really strict about track limits, good job
Although I lost at least 5 litres of sweat, I would gladly do this event or even a series based on these cars any day. |
