Not only was this the worst combination of car and track, nope, USB cable from my wheel had to disconnect in heat 2, 1 lap before finish. Oh did I mention the exceptionally bad ping?

Fun evening with very tight racing!
Unfortunately some higher than usual ping caused a lag-bump between Sven and I in H3 lap 13. Also had another incident with offcorsa, which I can't really judge without being a bit subjective. During the race, I had the feeling that his car had not been completely ahead, such that I didn't expect him not to leave any space for me, which resulted in a bump. I think it was H3, lap 4, second left-hander hairpin. However, seems from the replay that his car might have been fully ahead of mine, so probably apologies are due. I can offer you a 'free pass' card as compensation for next race, as a 'peace offering' ![]()
Good racing!
First heat I was helped by Barry and a brake error (or just the Fulvia's brake zone) by MinDer assisted by slight outbraking from myself. Second heat was more difficult, but couldn't get past "Der Barry", so the Hamburger Brigade took the top two spots with only two seconds between the three of us at the line. Heat 3 I made a mistake; I thought MinDer braked too early, but it seems just his braking spot throughout the race, I nudged into him, took out LRyder and offcorsa (a bit) in the process. My mistake, usually I brake quite early (or at least a feint) in these circumstances. Guess it's the heat of the moment, more damage to all of us than the nudge would normally do. From the replay I saw it was also quite hard to actually see the apex (LRyder was blocking it) and/or the braking reference (offcorsa was aside me, and needed to keep my eyes in front). Once again, the sorriez! Managed to make up a load of spots, only to be warped off track by S4b1n.. Otherwise would've gained a point on MinDer, now we're equal :'( Look forward to next Sunday!

I call it just a racing incident. not ideal but it happens. this week was full of close tight battles for me, one of them was bound to touch. Edtheshed in heat 1 was great.

What a night, I started in a good position (that is for an AM driver) in H1, then had an unfortunate bump with someone drifting, and had to fight back, but happy with result. In H2 the first 3 corners was crazy and I got into a very nice position when the front runners made "mistakes" and got into a nice spot but made a mistake by gearing back too much in corner 4, but NRTH and I had a great fight/race.
H3 went well, me and NRTH were battling almost all the way. Overall it was a lot of fun, and I had a chance to outbrake Sven just for one corner :-). Very proud moment there ! :-)) But off-course he decided to pass me anyway :-(. But I had to let my teammate through to get the points for the team! So end of excitement there. But I got to drift the Escort on many occasions without spinning out, and THAT IS AN AMAZING ACHIEVEMENT for an AM Driver! Take that you Pro's ! :-) Well, all-in-all, so much fighting back for a position, close racing with NRTH and a whole lot of fun! Thanks to all for a fun-filled racing evening!

I started 2nd in heat 1 and managed to overtake Barry on the back straight; the RSR is strong at braking and very grippy but its weight let it free on short straights.
Barry was on my heels, I tried to keep a good pace without defensive moves but quickly realized my tyres won't last all race. We touched each others in T1, I may have turn a bit quicker but I really thought I got enough room to take the late apex; Sven took second place and I started to be more defensive to keep the ideal line as my tryes started to give up. Sven missed a braking point and I lost my focus for half a lap, misdownshitfting twice; last lap, he managed to do his move, I was unable to replicate as front tyres lost grip. Heat 2' start was about nice battles with Offcorsa and Sven then Mr Urlauber. I really enjoyed. Last part of the race was more "calm" as I tried to maitain the gap while tyres were losing grip again at the end. I decided to try to manage them during 3rd heat and not push oo hard first laps. Last heat started good then tension risen fast when Offcorsa attacked Lryder; Sven was right beheind me and I hadn't any open door in front. I took my chance in the front straight taking Lryder's slipstream, Offcorsa was slightlty slower but I didn't know if my left side was clear; I carefully watched the replay and, as Lryder tried to come back middle lane, I braked like 10m earlier my usual brake point (I had to consider I was overspeeding due to slipstream too).It wasn't the best spot and with 3 cars around, it it didn't go well: I've been hit and my car went wild striking Lryder, ending in sandbox after a long bumpy sideway. Offcorsa has been hit too by the spinning AE86. Sorry about that, FRW are very hard to catch back with all that weight on front wheels, I have to be careful; also LR I thought you were still on track (I've seen a black assed 86 pass by, just discovered it wasn't yours ![]() I got back on track between 2 yellow Porsches and managed to stay like that until the end of the race, even if the gap with Sab1n melt as tyres were fading. For the first time in this serie, I really felt the Lancia can literally eat front tyres: I tried to adjust my line for the last couple of laps in order to keep good times but had to be wider in corners entries. I felt Modena had a taste of Atlanta whitout up n down, which was very pleasant. Good races and many actions ![]()
First I like this track, it's short, so if you don't have much time and you practise a little you can make more laps in the same time. ;-)
Qualify. Not just what I expected but starting from 12th place. Heat 1: Take it easy You don't win a race in first corner. Ohh too easy, forgot to downshift a gear and ended in first corner in the gravel. Duhh. Had to start from last position and it took to much time to get into the rhytem. Thought that I was 10th but it was Nowai I lapped and not gained a place. So ended 11th Heat 2: Again take it easy. Again not what it supposed to be, and again in the gravel first turn. Try to get it back in the first round, wanted to overtake Nowai, but there was not enough room. So we collided. Nowai said sorry but it wasnt the best option to try at that point an overtake. So Nowai, no problem also a little my fault. At the finishline 12th. Heat 3. Let's take the inside in turn 1. And yes, I can learn something. I didn't hit the gravel :-) Directly good laptimes , a little bit luck cause other drivers mad mistakes, I saw the whole Team Jake in front off me, or in the gravel. Off course Sven is to fast for me, but the incident in turn 2 between team-mates Off-corsa & GeraldflySA, gave me just that little room to pass and never gave that place back to Gerald. Lap after lap he was chasing me. Sometimes the gap became bigger, sometimes the became smaller. I enjoined it lap after lap. And could handle the pressure. (thumbs up) So first top 10 classification.
