I tested your setup Minder and it feels a lot better than the almost stock setup that I had. Longer smoother gears that were a better fit for the corners, much more stable over bumps. I didn't manage to improve on my PB but was very close. I am sure I would have with less fuel in the tank.
Some braking wasn't a straight line and as you said, there're many bumps. I don't like when the car is too rigid, I prefer feel the suspensions' work and play with the overall balance. I opened rear toe for more stability in corner's entry and exit and front toe too for a less reactive direction; I have too turn a bit more the wheel, but it means more precision too.
Gearbox setting's goal was to keep both hands on the wheel in corners and I think it would be better if 2nd and 3rd were a bit longer

My pit stop strategy in the race was to use an even amount of fuel before and after pit, so I started out with 70 liters after some quick calculations in my head. I had about 6-8 liters left when I pitted and put 68 liters more in it to be on the safe side.
Was it just me that had virtually no wear on the tires in the 917 K? One tire got down to 99%, but that was it. It could be RaceEssentials that shows the wrong number since it's not being updated properly anymore, but I got the newest version today from here: http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index....4-5.41103/
Refuel in pretty long (twice the time of changing tyres yesterday), starting full makes the car a bit harder due to wheight but since setup was with a full tank, I was used to it.
When gas tank was almost empty, the car was faster (less weight = shorter braking and faster corners) but became tricky in the first part of the track despite tyres looked fine.
The race was long and the 917 requieres constant attention to stay on track but it was a real joy to race on Riverside, had a big smile all along ; Gears was on my tail for a long time, adding pressure on turn's enties but some mistakes increased the gap between us, allowing me to breath and be focused on driving. Not sure I would have resisted more laps like that.
It was nice to see the RSR have hard battles too, nice race guys
