I've copied Pitconfig to the apps folder, but never installed it in AC yet. No-one but Jonah and me and had flashing away pit menu? I'm probably going to try this again tomorrow with some other cars/tracks/etc since I haven't yet found anything that describes this at the support forum.

It worked in practice mode though, so must be a game bug.

The pit system is something that should be reworked. It is rediculous that you cant plan your stops in advance. Jonah and Sven had issues with the menu itself and i was just struggling a bit. For a great simulation this is a bit poor.

I've used the Pitconfig app to great effect in previous series.  You can set up before the race what you want to do in the pitstop.  You then just drive into your pitbox and the pitstop starts automatically.  No need to even press a button.

However, there is a suggestion it no longer works since Tuesday's AC update.   I haven't tested yet.

It turns out it is PitConfig itself that messes with the games pitstop. Even if you don't have it open. I removed it and now pitstops work as expected. Maybe it will be updated soon, but for now, remove it from your apps folder if you want pitstops to work..

yeah, the spins... and the pits, tell me about it. Turned out I fueled for 1 litre short, had to use eco mode for last couple of laps and so lost it all.

Some say there is a pit app out there, all that I know it is called the PitConfig:

...which doesn't work for the current AC version sadly.

Ha yes I also didn't get enough fuel, but decided to pit again for fuel.

But yea that explains why you were going slow for the last couple laps.
