Thank you for working on the setup Sven. If I can suggest trying lowering the front toe to 5 instead of 7 and rear camber to -1.7 instead of -1.9 the car seems a little more compliant, in case you want to give that a try and see how it feels to you.

I tried the updated setup, I have mixed feelings. On one hand the extra turn in on power is a good tool but last night I struggled with my consistency On laguna Seca, might have just been a bad night for me, I did put in a 1.41.9 as my best so I was pleased to see a sub 1.42.

I was probably over driving the car too much, or getting a touch of curb that was sending me too far into a slide. I am fine with the setup but if there is a lot of cars then this could be more of an issue stepping the rear out, or too heavy with the right foot.

I did not like it with the setup where the rear cannot be used to turn the car out of the corner too, because there is more likelyhood of understeer collisions in overtake situations. That and it feels a bit boring!

It might take me a bit longer to settle into the car but I need the right foot practice too. Getting the mid corner gear changes gave me the faster lap times but also caused more instability and lost time when my timing was off / or thinking too much if I need to or not.

Kuffy seemed to really get the car going well through Laguna and made very few mistakes while going round the track with the current setup. Early on there was a 1.41.6 there, I think there was but I don't remember if there was a quicker time.

I had a 1:41.3 as my best, had a 1:41.1 possible but minced the last turn. I reckon there's a 1:40 if you hook it all up.

It's a good balance between lairy drift machine and numb car on rails, which this car certainly has the ability to be. I wasn't getting the huge understeer moments like the last attempt on Sunday, but that may have just been me getting used to the car/track combo. I found it very catchable, but you definitely need a shedload of right foot discipline. Yellow said I had very few mistakes but really it was all about the the mistakes not being race ending.

It'll be good to try a very bumpy track!

It's a tricky set up choice. I like the playfullness of the current one. Defo more interesting than the most numb version from Sunday. We'll see how NRTH finds it, hopefully he'll get along with it. It'll be fun to race this. If not it'll still be a laugh with a little less opposite lock !
