It's appreciated when you provide a reason if you can't make a race; this gives me more insight than a simple OUT post. Please make a new post when your status changes.

Track Draw
One of the following three tracks will be drawn, the others will carry on to next week. Track will be drawn at race time. Read more about the track draw in the rules.

Race Format
Track draw: between 7:30 PM UK and 7:45 PM UK
Practice: 15 minutes (from 7:45 PM UK)
Qualification: 15 minutes
Heat 1: 15 minutes timed, rolling start in qualifying order
Heat 2: 15 minutes timed, rolling start with reverse grid for top 4
Heat 3: 15 minutes timed, rolling start with reverse grid for top 4

Rolling Start Procedure
Double file (two rows), leading car (pole) slowly increases pace to a maximum speed of 80 km/h (50 mph). If you start left, stay left; if you start right, stay right. Keep at least a car's length between you and the car right in front of you, and do not overtake a car that is aside you if you start on the outside. You may reduce throttle, but do not brake, maximum speed of 80 km/h (50 mph). Once the race timer (top of your screen) hits 14:45, the race starts. The host will do a countdown over our voice channel.

First Time?
1) post your car choice (and skin preferences) in https://cosyracingcommunity.com/thread-1489.html
2) sign up every week in the weekly race thread with an In, Maybe or Out. You can join a series any time and don't have to make all the races. Only members who posted "IN" on time in the race thread are put on the servers' entry list.
3) Discord is mandatory to participate in our events, joining our voice channel is recommended (a mic is not mandatory). More on Discord and download: https://cosyracingcommunity.com/thread-362.html
4) on race day, at around 7:45 PM UK, I will post a message on Discord saying the server is live with the track of the day. It's then in practice mode until qualifying starts. To join, search "cosy" in the server list, password is not necessary since it's a locked entry list. Between heats the server will be restarted, I'll again post on Discord when the server is live; from there you have two minutes to connect for each racing heat

Watkins glen chosen for the last race.
practice and qualifying when pretty well for me with some good pace.

Heat 1 - well here's where it all went wrong! even qualifying quite high does not help with the other cars able to slip and close the gap quickly, some nudges and I managed to hold on from spinning out there. I lost quite a bit of speed for the straight, coming into the double chicane (bus stop if you like!) I caught a bit too much curb to make sure to not cut anyone up. ended sideways and at the back.

Heat 2 - struggled to get any gains trying to push VRslipstream until I caught a bad slide again at the double chicane (different point in the corner), only finished above Sven due to bad luck of his.

Heat 3 - This time trying to jostle position with CAR, was all fine until the last lap though could not keep him from making back the place if I did get in front. Last lap and car pulled straight across in front on the last left hander, I was carrying a bit more speed and had to brake to avoid contact this caused the car to go unstable and I lost the rear traction. Hello barrier good bye race positions! Last except for NRTH retiring.

I feel bad for my inability to drive especially this race session but the battles have been hard and close fought, Where the lotus shines the other cars make it difficult to keep positions gained.
Always looking forward to racing with everyone even if I do end up last!
