It's appreciated when you provide a reason if you can't make a race; this gives me more insight than a simple OUT post. Please make a new post when your status changes.

Track Draw
One of the following three tracks will be drawn, the others will carry on to next week. Track will be drawn at race time. Read more about the track draw in the rules.

Race Format
Track draw: between 7:30 PM UK and 7:45 PM UK
Practice: 15 minutes (from 7:45 PM UK)
Qualification: 15 minutes
Heat 1: 15 minutes timed, start in qualifying order
Heat 2: 15 minutes timed, start with reverse grid for top 4
Heat 3: 15 minutes timed, start with reverse grid for top 4

Rolling Start procedure: double file (two rows), leading car (pole) slowly increases pace to a maximum speed of 80 km/h (50 mph). If you start left, stay left; if you start right, stay right. Keep at least a car's length between you and the car right in front of you, and do not overtake a car that is aside you if you start on the outside. You may reduce throttle, but do not brake, maximum speed of 80 km/h (50 mph). Once the race timer (top of your screen) hits 14:45, the race starts. The host will do a countdown over our voice channel.

First Time Racing Here?
1) make sure you've posted your car choice (and skin preferences) in http://cosyracingcommunity.com/thread-1321.html
2) sign up every week in the weekly race thread with an In, Maybe or Out. You can join a series any time and don't have to make all the races. Only members who posted "IN" on time in the race thread are put on the servers' entry list.
3) Discord is mandatory to participate in our events, joining our voice channel is recommended (a mic is not mandatory). More on Discord and download: http://cosyracingcommunity.com/thread-362.html
4) at around 7:45 PM UK, I will post a message on Discord saying the server is live with the track of the day. It's then in practice mode until qualifying starts. To join, search "cosy" in the server list, password is not necessary since it's a locked entry list. Between heats the server will be restarted, I'll again post on Discord when the server is live; from there you have two minutes to connect for each racing heat
5) make sure to read the rules and this entire post before asking questions 

Latest Skin Pack
1st March: added three manufacturer race skins for every car for public/private server use
19th March: optimized manufacturer skins, added placeholders (including Stephen_hill's team) for most skins and skins for Kuffy, Sleepwalker, Saitam, Yellowthingy
26th March: further work, nearly all skins finished or close to finished
30th March: updated skin pack with polished skins for all!

Afterwards I'll set up a lap of touristenfahrten on the Nordschleife so we can close off the series in style! All three tracks are reasonably close to right there anyway (Salzburg, Spa and Nürburg)!

Sadly I won't be able to attend, we always do these watch parties with my friend when f1 is on and the timing is really bad cause i didnt realize the race would be this late, I really apologize and i'm kinda saddened to not be able to race with yall today.

Frustrating experience tonight; went off when I got distracted by Stephen gaining a load of speed on me on the "straight" in heat 1. Reminded myself of the "you signed up, you finish it" and went on after a few wall taps to get back on track.

From there on all went downhill with disconnects in heat 2 and 3; seems my connection is still not fixed, booked an appointment with the ladies to talk about it. Was already pretty tired tonight from a bit too much sports over the last few weeks that's starting to take its toll, it was much easier to cope with physical tiredness on the G27.

[Kuffy]

An unexpected end to a challenging series.

Apart from a tap on Sleep and the biggest dive bomb in history on Yellow the Lambo got me through, with an obligatory spin or 2. Those long straights and big stops ain't the Lambo's strong points ! This track was pretty much 2 of those and not much else.

I reckon I'll look back at this series and think I enjoyed it, I definitely learned a lot. But my nerves were in bits by the end of some of those nights!

Apparently grabbing the bull by it's horns is only going to annoy it even more than it was before !

Thanks again for organising and running this Sven, your efforts are much appreciated.

I managed to put a good race in for the last race and even managed a podium!

The first race I held on steadily throughout to finish third overall.

Second race I had an incident which saw me drop some places but with some accidents ahead saw me catch some of those up.
On the later part of the race I had NRTH ahead and Kuffy behind. I was closing in on NRTH with kuffy close behind about to go into the first chicane Kuffy was coming in hot which I just caught in the rear view mirror, holding off from turning in allowed Kuffy to go straight through the inside without contact (Thanks to Kuffy for letting me back thrrough). Unfortunately (for me) NRTH was released far enough from us to be able to catch before the end of the race. finshed forth....
So starting on pole for the third heat!!!
In the first lap or so I was slightly confused on wether there was going to be a restart after Sven got disconnected just before the green light, so sorry if a bit hesitant in that first lap.
Second lap in and by braking slightly wrong/late could not hold the correct line into the fast right hander, put the wheels in the grass and then it was last place. First to last just like that.
I did make a mistake a bit later too but did manage to have some battles dispite the off road antics.

Well raced all and I look forward to the next series, Well done Steven Hill on the drivers championship and also thanks to Sleepwalker for the much needed Pro points for Peppergani to finish first in the Team standings!

And lastly thanks Sven for putting it all together may you have better luck with your connection going forwards.

[NRTH]

Very mixed feelings with this series. I felt that the drive for this series was disappearing. Sometimes it went well, sometimes I made mistakes or was unlucky. There were a few moments that it was good, that there were no young kids in my space (And I think my mic isn't on)

Last night, practice and quali did go well.

Heat 1, just after the start, I touched with Mr_Urlauber, didn't know if I did something wrong and saw Urlauber spun off. I decided to wait. I believe it did cost us 20 to 30 seconds. It was a lonely race after overtaking Mr_Urlauber.

Heat 2. The best of the evening, this time, no big errors, had a few lucky moments and driving on third place I think I was hit by Mr_Urlauber( in de fast righthander after the backstraight) got in the gravel. But was fast enought to get out in time. Finished third.

Heat 3. Can be short, spun twice by myself. Got frustrated, smoked some rubber and decided again, If you start, you will finish. So back on track and finished the race.

After 7 of 8 races (missed one) I can say, there where a few good ones, but also lot's of frustration. Not from the other drivers, I love to drive with CRC, but the lack of my own skills for these cars, without doing some tests/training isn't the right combination with this type of car.

I feel bad because Stephen didn't get the team-title, just because my poor performance. Now it's time to take a break, do some free racing and then back to a new series. With (I hope) some other type of cars.

Again thanks to Sven for all the effort he put in this series. I understand it is not what you want to hear, that someone wasn't happy with the choise of cars but I can't lie.
