The combination will be drawn from a list of three at race time. The two combinations that aren't drawn will continue to next week's selection. Combinations will not feature more than once in a series.

Server Settings
Tire wear: 100%
Fuel: 100%
Damage: 100%
ABS: Factory (CTRL+A to disable)
Traction control and Stability Management: Forced off
Tyre blankets: off during practice, qualifying and race
Free choice: virtual mirror, auto/manual clutch, cockpit view strongly advised, close to mathematically correct FOV mandatory (calculator: https://dinex86.github.io/FOV-Calculator/)
Off track penalty qualifying and race: "two tyres out" during practice and qualifying
Remember our rule is:
"Keep half of the car, along the longitudinal axis, completely within white lines if there are no kerbs. If there are kerbs, the wheels on one side may be on primary kerbs, but not beyond them on the grass or run-off area. Primary kerbs in this case means that if there are two types of kerbs and/or run off areas, the ones closest to the track count as primary kerbs."
Points
There will be an individual championship and a class based championship (for each two races with that class). Best five week results count to individual standings. Titles will be awarded to the best driver in each division.
For every race heat:
25 for first place
20 for second place
16 for third place
13 for fourth
11 for fifth
10 for sixth
9 for seventh
...down with increments of 1 point
Bonus points for qualifying result:
5 for first place
3 for second place
1 for third place
A driver has to finish at least 70% of the race distance (rounded upwards) in laps compared to the race winner in order to score points
DNF (did not finish) equals last place in order of dropping out
DNS (did not start) equals zero points

The list above, although subjective, is non-debatable. It is based on recent performances, results in the last three series, and/or in comparable cars. Only drivers participating in the past three Sunday Series, or known to be at least interested in participating this series, have been ranked above.
If you're not on the list but have raced before in our series, please PM me. Even if you're not on the list and/or haven't done any racing with us before, you're of course allowed to participate in this series and a division will be assigned soon.
Incidents
Although clean and fair racing is our ethos, accidents can happen, especially in close racing. Whenever you're involved in an accident and feel aggrieved, please be very careful with public claims, assumptions or accusations on the server, forum or on Discord.
Contact the driver(s) involved first to see what they think of a situation before reporting it to staff. If you can work it out yourselves that's preferred. Language like "I think", "I feel" and "I find" are recommended to make your problem clear without offending those involved.
In case of reporting it to the staff, first watch the replay yourself from all drivers' involved views and multiple (preferred: cockpit) cameras (request for download by PM to me if you don't have it). Be aware that most people do not use VR and on most triple monitor setups you actually are not able to see around you. If you still think you were the victim of actions that do not comply with our guidelines, send a PM to the series staff detailing your case.
If you do not report it, it will likely go unnoticed as staff do not check replays for incidents unless they have any indication of uncosy behaviour. Thus, it's your responsibility to report uncosy track behaviour.
Short overview of our guidelines:
- return position to victim when your (reasonably avoidable) fault causes someone to leave the track, spin or lose a position
- return position, return to track and carry out slow down penalties only when safe; stay off the racing line if possible and do not cross the track unnecessary or dangerously
- safety is the most important part of the first corners; keep battles and overtakes to a minimum
- respect the blue flag: allow lapping traffic an effortless pass that doesn't slow them down
- respect during qualifying; when on your first lap, give lapping cars an effortless pass that doesn't slow them down
- no blatant swerving or blocking; when defending, only switch lines once and allow space for others who are aside you before braking
- no dive bombing; do not dive on the inside of cars braking earlier than you, while you are not already aside
- whenever reasonably possible keep half of the car, along the longitudinal axis, completely within white lines, also if there are no kerbs. When there are kerbs, the wheels on one side may be on primary kerbs, but not beyond them on the grass or run-off area and still with half of the car within white lines. Primary kerbs in this case means that if there are two types of kerbs and/or run off areas, the ones closest to the track count as primary kerbs.
The following are all allowed situations regarding track limits:
As there's an informal incident count table at the end of the series, please do not intentionally hit cars after crossing the finish line.
First Time?
First time racing with us in a series?
1) sign up every week in the weekly race thread with an In, Maybe or Out. You can join a series any time and don't have to make all the races. Only those who posted "IN" on time in the race thread are added to the entry list.
2) Discord is mandatory to participate in our events, joining our voice channel is strongly recommended (a mic is not mandatory). More on Discord and download: http://cosyracingcommunity.com/thread-362.html
3) about 10 minutes before qualifying, I will post a message on Discord saying the server is live. It's then in practice mode until qualifying starts. Search "cosy" in the server list, no password required since it's a locked entry list based on your Steam ID. Between heats the server will be restarted, I'll again post on Discord when the server is live; from there you have two minutes to connect
4) Make sure to read the rules and race thread fully before asking questions
