Yeah? You just have to pick a car https://cosyracingcommunity.com/thread-1364.html ..and wait, does that mean the rest of us are not racing "for fun"? ..I assume that's an IN then?
Nice races!
Heat 1 I made an unfortunate attempt on Dima after trying for an overtake for a few laps and ended up spinning both of us (my bad). Shame about that as it was a good battle up until then. After a while I caught up with the three FauxRacing boys and managed to get passed Dima and Gcosens, where I almost had Yellow on the line, but the raw power of the Mazda once again excels Heat 2 was hunting the front of the pack, but almost lost it when I went outside of Sleepwalker on the back straight. Tried crawling back into the battle, and at some point Sleepwalker lost it, then made my move on Dima to clinch third. Heat 3 I tried to get as much of an advantage as I could, and hope for Stewart to hold off Stephen. After a few laps I spotted a Lotus behind and tried to focus on getting better (edit: smoother) laps in. The first few I just couldn't get the first and second heavy braking zones right, and nearly went off a couple of times. Look forward to next week again!

Qually was surprising, I had a nice flow going but expected people to start getting quicker. 2nd was awesome, well chuffed. This track was a go slow to go fast thing.
Heat 1 was going really well until I hit the pothole, down to 4th and got back to 3rd. Best result on a Sunday series race ! Heat 2 I started on pole, got myself all in a muddle and hit the clutch rather than the brake on turn 1, dropped a few places then spun after being 3 wide with Sven and Dima, far too much adrenalin ! Good fun though Heat 3 from the back was as expected, I'm getting faster in these cars but can't overtake at all. Got some places from people binning it but couldn't get past Evil, had a sprint to the finish line which was worth a big smile.

While I enjoyed the racing, I did not have the best heats this Sunday.
Qualified in mid positioning but I knew there were improvements available just could not get it quite right in qualifying. Heat 1 was quite good through out I had one contact that I remember with Jorius where I hit the pothole and touched with his side Otherwise I mostly managed to keep it steady in the race, got a bit wide in the 's' bends but managed to keep the car in check. Race to the line with Sven was good to know points stayed with Faux team. (I saw the two cars on track that had spun out but did not realise (realize) that it was Sven and Dima) - Team orders noted! though if I had know Dima was behind me I would have let him through anyway. Heat 2, Disaster from the start... I did not hold the brake and got a drive through penalty was too annoyed (at myself) so I just let every one past and rejoined at the back then raced from there. Heat 3 was driving well right up until the last lap spun out the rear and ended up with broken windshield from head on into the barrier and pretty much last place to go with it. on to the next week, with the hope that things go a bit better.

What a mixed bag this evening was for me!
Qually went ridiculously well. Got a nice early banker lap, which then meant I could push a bit harder on the next couple of laps... And I made one of them stick. I was so surprised I simply returned to pits; I knew there was no way I was going to improve! Heat 1 then went really well. Had a great time successfully holding Mr Chip and Sleepwalker behind me. But then a couple of laps form the end I became very aware the force feedback in the wheel seemed to be quickly fading into none existence. It was slightly off putting and I'm not sure of the cause. At the time I thought the wheel maybe overheating? It's a pretty full on circuit so maybe it puts more stress on the wheel with very little breaks? I have also recently turned up the gain which I'm wondering if it was a mistake? But now I'm wondering if actually it was simply my front tyres giving up the ghost and making the steering very light? I reduced the gain for the other heats, but I think it happened again though it didn't seem so pronounced,... But is that simply just that the force feedback wasn't so initially strong, the difference was less noticeable/pronounced? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Anyway, my concentration wasn't as focussed as it should have been and the pressure from Chip got to me. I was very aware the final braking event in the race needed to be correct to achieve my best result since my return... And I promptly screwed it up!!! Noooooo!!! I can't believe the pressure got to me like that. I lost 2 places on the final corner after I ran off the track. But man I really enjoyed fighting with you Chip, even if I was simply a bit of a roadblock! Heat 2 was a shocker. Our team started in some great positions. I think I was still completely wired and ultimately dissapointed from the last race. I couldn't keep the car on the track for ages, couldn't refocus. Dropped right to the back. Eventually I stopped falling off the tarmac, got it together and chased down the pack, even cleared a couple of people. Heat 3 was brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Chasing NakedDBA and trying to find a way past. It was a great fight, Kuffy just behind... It went right up to the wire and I so nearly made amends for my 1st round disaster at the final corner. I thought I was going to get you there DBA! Instead I ended up in a sprint to the line with Kuffy and won by half a bonnet length! Thanks guys! Roll on next week! Two points behind you now Yellow...

Quiet one for me.
H1. Was following kuffy just able to keep up but with no chance of passing. Unfortunately he hit the invisible deer/pothole and slid off. But then two laps later I ran wide and hit it, luckily just did a half spin and didn’t stop so got away with it. Just managed to stay ahead of kuffy at the end. H2. Chased Stephen for a few a few laps until he got bored and disappeared down the road. H3. Was second for a lap but was running wide at the turn 6/7 deer/pothole turn. Didn’t want to hit the hole and was not going to make the apex so had to go wide and open a door for Stephen to zip through. Then few laps later sleepwalker zipped past to take 3rd but spun at the pothole corner. Either hit the hole or I was laggy at that point so don’t know if there was a teleport. Was a fun track and I think my best result though got lucky with the invisible deer/pothole.

What a fun track in the Mazda - was drifting out of turns constantly, right on the edge so hard not to make a mistake.
Had some very good battles also. @Stewart4444 just watched the replay and can confirm I was taken out by the pothole and not by you From within the car it wobbled, so felt like being hit from behind in the moment.

For me it was pretty awesome, heat 1 went from bottom line up to p7 where I mostly was alone, heat 2 had a little more people around me and still p7 and heat 3 made some mistakes that cost me a lot of positions.
I didn't got any practice on this track, only 30 min previous to race start. I felt I had a lot less pressure than when I spent time practicing the track. Maybe I should start doing this more often.
