With the weather in Europe cooling down a bit over the weekend, we're on for a slightly longer race.
With the M3 E92 winning the team championship of the most recent series, we're racing it's GT2 brother on one of the two remaining tracks from the last track draw: TT Circuit Assen!
Sign up by posting IN and your preferred stint(s) or full race. Sign-up closes at 7:30 PM UK, which is 30 minutes before qualifying start.
Maybe's and Out's are appreciated when you're less certain or can't make it, please specify why so we know you're not fed up with racing or whether anything else is not to your taste.
Race Format:
10 minute practice (from 7:50 PM UK)
15 minute qualifying (from 8 PM UK) tire blankets on
60 minute (1 hour) race (from 8:15 PM UK) tire blankets on
A car will have a qualifying time assigned to it, set by the fastest driver in that car. Cars that don't have a qualifying time are sorted by the game, as the entire thing will be hosted on a single server setup (one server session hosting practice, qualifying and a race, no need to rejoin, but rejoining is of course possible also for drivers doing the full race by themselves).
Tire wear: 100%
Fuel rate: 100% recommended app ACRLfuel: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads...uel.15424/
Damage: 100% be aware that rejoining the server removes all damage, gives a full (to fixed setup limit) fuel tank and fresh tires
Track:

TT Circuit Assen (Autosport) https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads...ssen.4536/
Cars:
BMW M3 E92 GT2
BMW 1M (Spectator cars, available for everyone participating, also possible to request if not participating)
All cars will use a custom fixed setup. For this race it will not be possible to create your own setup.
EDIT: default skins for this race! If there's a skin you've seen at RaceDepartment which you like for the car you're going to drive, feel free to add the link to your sign-up post, and I'll adjust it with a one-off number plate with your driver number.
Pit Stops:
- you have to stop exactly in the red square which pops up as you enter the pit lane
- you can set up pit strategies in the setup menu, all the way to the right on the tabs.
- a car will never get more fuel than the fixed setup has at the start
- using different tyres is allowed for the LMP class (in case of more pit stops than necessary)
Sharing a Car:
- multiple drivers per car are allowed! No restrictions on driver pairings or number of drivers in a car
- you may sign up for multiple cars (this can give problems when switching cars, I'll let the drivers involved know what they should be careful about)
- you're responsible for communication with your co-drivers and keeping an eye on the length of your stint
- who qualifies or does how many laps (in both qualifying and race) is completely up to you or your team
Driver Swaps Process and Tips:
1) enter the pit lane
2) make sure you've crossed the start/finish line to count your last lap, but you do not have to drive into your pit box
3) you have to come to a complete stop, then leave the server
4) only once you've quit the server, the other driver can take the car
5) joining driver will get a fresh, undamaged car, including fuel and tires
(when rejoining, make sure there's at least 20 seconds between the time the exiting driver leaves the server and the joining driver presses drive)
- server automatically keeps the number of laps the car has traveled, no matter who was driving it
- make sure you wait until your "race" car is taken before you take a "watch" car slot. otherwise it'll put you in the "race" car!
- there is a bug with the blue flag, showing after a driver swap, which doesn't necessarily mean the car behind you is lapping you; whenever someone is closing in on you after the first stint and you're pretty sure you're not battling them for current position, please let them pass at a safe and easy place
- there will be a list detailing in which order the cars are on the entry list; this only matters if you've signed up for multiple different cars
