Had fun, but also some problems.
In practice and in qualify no spin, no problem. First lap in race, ending in the gravel.
So back from last position in the race, we had two hours to get back in competition.
I decided to do one hour with my tyres, then do a tyrechange and off course fuel.
This was just to long. The last lap for pitting I spun 4 (four!!) times, there wasn't any grip left. So that lap did cost some time and gave me a nice number on the incident-counter, see one post up.
Second problem, it isn't easy to change the pitstop strategy with a VR-set and you cannot see your keyboard. Again a few seconds lost.
After 1 hour and 45 minutes, the sitting-position isn't the best My butt started to hurt a little.
And off-course another hour on that set of tyres. I have to appologize to the red/black Porsche. I let him pass but braked to late for the next corner so we had another touching moment for the incident count.
At the end, lot's of fun, and the day after muscle strain. I'm getting to old for this.
Quiet race for me.
Had a race with Daniel for a few laps at the start, but I think he binned it with the throttle on the exit of a turn. Shame cos pace seemed quite similar.
After that I wasn’t quick enough for the three up front, but had no one behind.
Half way through set a target of not being overtaken by the leader of the gt class.
Thought I might had done it until I noticed my fuel was running out with 3 to go. Decided rather than limp round and risk running out I’ll just pit.
So coming out of the pits to start my last lap SH just went past. However he must have been running low on fuel too as he slowed right up so I got past just before the race finished.
