GT Root finished a couple of weeks ago so currently only the Super Trofeo series is running and some off-season events like this one take place on Sundays instead. The next series should start in January as you can see here (Cosy Racing Calendar)

That was brilliant fun, thanks Sven and Ed!
On my second lap while just trying to stay on the track and not pushing, I put in a 7:01, which I was properly pleased with. Seeing everyone going under the 7 minute mark made me decide my goal for the evening was sub 7. Tried following a few of the fast guys for some fast lines but ended up crashing just trying to stay with them. Went about 1 hour without another completed lap due to crashes and was getting very frustrated. Sven a.k.a Yoda, suggested I take 5% off as driving on the limit around there is too difficult. That advice managed to net me a 6:56 and thus my goal was achieved. With 40 minutes left, I didn't want to leave until I got a sub 6:50, and I had clearly caught the Green Hell bug. Handily, the Mrs had cooked Steak and Chips so I fueled up and rejoined with 30 minutes left. Sven and Ed were battling for a sub 6:40, and after I had crashed about 10 times in a row, I had just over 7 minutes for a do or die lap. With Sven and Ed having a nice little chin wag over the voice comms, I set off. Thankfully, they lack the sultry voice of Iovenetti so it wasn't distracting in the slightest. Coming round the final corner I saw the timer saying 6:4x and nearly crashed from excitement. Got it across the line for a 6:46, which I'm thrilled with considering my very first lap was an invalidated 7:24. I'll definitely be clocking up the miles on that track over the next few months, super addictive!

Good fun yesterday!
Been learning the Nordschleife with each of these sessions bit by bit over the last year - there seems to be some improvement at least Was very happy to get close to 6:50 with a 6:50.37 - would have been nice to get under 6:50, but had a couple of seconds in hand on the first half of the track a couple of times, so the possiblity is there - only got two times in for the whole session The last half of the track is where I loose the most time I think - would be great if there was an option to practice the last half only. My main takeaway from yesterday was getting comfortable with my new force feedback settings - details here: http://cosyracingcommunity.com/thread-78...l#pid17215

The best tip for that is to not give up and always continue your lap, unless your car is totaled of course. On Forza Motorsport I remember doing a lot of 1 or 2 lap races around the full Nordschleife; and I mostly overtook people on the second and final third of the track. During most of those overtakes the others cars weren't exactly *on* track As I told B1gPappaPump as well yesterday, the key is in driving 95%. That's also why I get in 8 clean laps, and the laps I went off all were at 100% of my driving yesterday ..and turn of the timer if you run it..
