Fairly disappointed with that.
Driver and mechanical fails!
Qualified where I would expect to be but despite doing a 50 lap off line practice race last week where all laps consistent and not one crash, in the this race I couldn’t hold it together for more than 2 laps.
Hit a curb, bounced over to the grass and slammed into Sven!
Pretty deflated after that, got to the first stop and only put 43 litres in then crashed a few more time on cold tires and damaged the car again.
Managed to get the pit stop two and got the full amount.
This time out I crashed and did quite a bit of damage, think it was about 1h30 in. Despite having fuel and tires decided to pit again for repairs as my laps time were slow and I just couldn’t stop the car.
So in the pits, I quickly stood up for a circulation Of the legs. Before I got to sit back down the pit stop finished and off the car went down the pit lane by it’s self!
I’d noticed in qualifying my accelerator pedal felt soft compared to the brake but thought nothing more of it.
Turns out the spring seems to have ‘gone’ or summit as the throttle isn’t returning to 0%. And the pedal is floppy from 0 to halfway pushed.
As I knew that now I plodded on just braking miles earlier and still braking a bit while going round the corner. Got to a half decent rhythm and managed to stay on track and not damaged the car for once.
With 30 minutes left it was getting worse I did wonder about just stopping but thought I’ve done this much may as well try and finish.
Thought I might have got a year out of the tmT150, only had it six weeks which is pretty p1ss poor. It for another thread but will try a source a replacement spring.
Anyhoo, at least a finished.
