Really struggled with this one. There seemed to be a huge difference lap to lap. didn't really get my head around when was good to push.

Couldn't hook up a lap in qually, spun hit the wall, pointless going on as the Ginetta is really slow on the straights after a front hit.

Race one was difficult to get by CAR but he made that one mistake and I got by.

Race 2 seemed like it could work but a gear change at just the wrong point and the back end went. This car is really hard to catch. Again hit the front so was really slow on the straights.

Race 3 I hit a sausage kerb and hit the wall, broke the car so popped into the pits and went and had an early bath.

While it was frustrating I let it get to me, need to relax more !

Overall, it was the best race week for me in terms of race battles. All three races were a fight for the lead and no one was able to get away with a clear gap in front.

I have a love-hate relationship with laguna seca. I took me a couple of laps to get in the rhyme in quali and I managed to start in p2 behind Yellowthingy.

Race 1: Starting on the outside row of turn 1 gave Stephen_Hill an easy pass on lap 1 from 3rd place. We both passed Yellow and fought until the end for the lead with the latter wining the race.

Race 2: Repeat of race 1 except with me finishing in front. It was interesting to see how the Porsche was faster in the first half of the lap and the Maserati was faster in the back half of the lap.

Race 3: Starting on the outside in 4th gave me a bad start, as I was now defending my 5th place from NRTH. At the end of lap one, we were in a drag race for the position went he unfortunately locked up and took Yellow with him. It gave me back 4th place chasing the Sven- Stephen-Urlander trio for the lead. Urlander spun after a couple laps, which was unfortunate because we didn't have a chance to battle. The fight for the lead was tough and fair. Stephen and I took turns hitting Sven by accident which caused a bit of confusion to retake our race positions. In the end, Sven withstood the pressure for the race win.

This is what I missed from the old forza days. Everyone is competitive, having fun and there's no one really walking away with the championship!
