Great fun racing today! Some good amount of chasing and some overtakes, despite a tricky track.
I'm pretty happy I could be consistent most of the time after a long day. Didn't have necessarily a fast pace, but was decent (1:36.3ish).
H1 - i made some mistake going off track losing some 2-3 positions, and then was mostly playing catch-up.
H2 - i managed to climb from 3rd to 1st within a couple laps and then held it until Minder caught up. Then chased him, while Ed was closing the gap once every 3-4 laps with half a sec or so. Nice 1-2 finish for our team
H3 - had a pretty good start, chasing Minder for a while until he had to do the drive-through. Then I made some mistake (i forgot to brake) at the end of the straight and just went straight through the sandpit in the chicane (yes, there is a sandpit if you go deep enough ). Ended up behind S0ul who i started pursuing, managing to sneak by at some point, but unfortunately we had contact coming into the next corner. We shook hands on it being a racing incident after Dima was also catching up slowly - but he needed maybe a couple more laps (also, to quote Sven - "I was holding back" at the end )

It seems like you guys had great fun Unfortunately I already had a DnD session planed out with my buddies this past Sunday, but I'd love to join in on the next one. Any idea when that might be? Cheers
EDIT: Sorry, just saw it in the calendar, still getting used to the forum...
Having done a bit of Road Atlanta last week, it didn't take long to get back into the swing of things, and the times in quali were pretty fast.
Heat 1: Dima's start! wow from 4th to 1st before the first corner! There was no chance for the porsches. Managed to get a run on Minder onto the back straight and I got the inside for the chicane. Couldn't catch dima though...
Heat 2: Was going very well, just behind Sabin and Earl fighting for the lead, when earl lost it at the chicane, and I couldn't avoid him. Lost a few places but managed to get back up the field.
Heat 3: A collision near the start! At the kink at turn 3, I was on the left of Jorius. He gave too much room to me so had a super narrow entry into the corner, thus when we got to the apex our angles of entry were so different, we collided. I almost lost it, but Jorius spun. Sorry you spun, but it was a racing incident. Soon after, I ended up behind my team mate s0ul. I couldn't find a spot for a clean pass, but he kindly let me pass on the straight, ty! I tried to catch Sven up front, and I may have done if not for a small mistake here and there from me, and a couple quick laps from him. Finished 2nd
Nice one s0ul, a good result for Bolt, taking us up to 2nd in the team comp!
Great fun, really like this track! Thanks for the races x

Hey no worries. It was 100% my fault that we touched. I was too much in the inside and didn't brake in time and hit the grass which didn't help with braking.I was just happy I spunned and didn't take anyone out. I managed to catch up pretty fast though and even climb up some positions
I also learned to use helicorsa as a guideline only and not take decisions only based on it.
