I’m on holiday in the South of France and ran out of time to do Finland before leaving. I’ll miss Monaco too but should be back for Wales
Sorry to hear you’re having a frustrating time Sven. If you’ve not tried it yet have a go at Templars Impact ffb file and settings. https://steamcommunity.com/app/310560/di...875950279/ Also, for car setup I usually use those by Meznes. You can find them on the Steam Workshop for DR. He does two for each car, gravel and tarmac.

Bullshit. I screwed up monte Carlo again, hit the mountain wall then bounced off the road. And I was having so much fun and looking forward to it. Happened in the very first stage. Fuuuuuuuuuuuck

Thanks Urlauber, S4b1n and Ceolmor for racing, I couldn't find much motivation for doing this one and am not really motivated to go through the settings stage again. If I find any I'll give it a go again
A small break from Dirt Rally then!
Wish I hadn't fallen of a cliff and that I had time to compete in the two weeks I think I didn't. It was great fun to complete the ones I did.
Looking forward to the next ones. And if I may add a suggestion, maybe the deadline for each week could be Sunday late evening, like 11:59 pm UK (or midnight to Monday) ? Some of us (me) tend to be forgetful, and I am usually reminded around the time of the races we have Sunday evening, but not early enough to have time to do it before the race

I love doing the Dirt Rally thing now and then, it's the most exhausting virtual driving I had of every game. And what Sabin said about the deadline!

Thanks to Sven for organising the most recent DiRT Rally series.
Shame there weren't more participants. Generally, interest in DR is waning, so I don't have any clever ideas how to get more to race. I agree with mr_urlauber. It can be the most intense 3 to 7+ minutes of any sim racing, but gives a real buzz. I'm happy to set up a short series from time to time if mr_urlauber, Sabin and any others fancy a race, even if it is only a three way battle.

Promoted you to manager in the Dirt Rally leagues, so you're free to set up stuff there. You can use this board to set up threads for the specific event or series you want to run/promote. |
