<p style="font-size:1.25em;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:8px;font-weight:400;line-height:1.6em;">Cars revealed, Lancia Fulvia likely to become the first mod and first FWD car in a Sunday series!</p>
Presenting the likely line-up of the series:
1974 Porsche 911 RSR (Porsche Pack 1)
1968 Ford Escort Mk1 (Dream Pack 3)
1983 Toyota AE86 Tuned (Japanese Pack)
1985 BMW M3 E30 Group A
1970 Lancia Fulvia Stage 1 (Mod)
For a first test the cars were taken to Brands Hatch, Zandvoort and Laguna Seca.
Biggest change for this series is likely to be a change in cutting penalties. In the past few series a larger part of the field made quite a habit of not keeping two wheels within white lines. Since Assetto doesn't have a nice way to penalise just this (AC counts the kerbs as being part of the track, thus "within" white lines), we'll have to find a workaround. More info on the definitive solution soon, as the current one (zero tires outside track limits) also doesn't seem favorable.

As far as balance goes, the BMW is overpowered because of a copy paste issue on the entry list; current ballast doesn't reflect the final ballast. The Fulvia's setup might be more refined, but again, keep in mind this is an front wheel drive car. Other than that, the Porsche, Toyota and Ford looked on par. Nevertheless all of them will be pushed in more definitive balance testing before you'll get a chance to drive them.
Expect the definitive ballast before the end of the week, with a final testing session this Sunday!
