I`m sorry, I will probably be a little bit late and won`t be probably at home in a hour. I will surely miss training, maybe qualif too. Sorry again

So today I lost my virginity. My race virginity, that is Thank you Sven for making this possible, I know it's hard work for you behind the scene and how stressfull it can get to tie all the ends together, but it ran very well and it was fun as hell even when I got spun of the track several times
Wow, what a race!
On heat one I managed to go through a wreck on the first corner and I managed to stay behind DeLof, sometimes I catched him but he always managed to get away. I had MinderK behind me, I could feel him breathing behind my neck... I was shaking and sweating like a little girl on the first half of the heat but managed to control myself and keep the 4th position. Heat 2 I managed to get a good start and stay in third position until the end of the race, no shaking this time but sweating a lot due to the Vive. Heat 3, I had the perfect start and managed to get to second, almost bumped Sven . But couldn't keep the position for long as Offcorsa was faster than me. Unfortunately I couldn't let him pass as the pack was still really tight and I might have ended loosing more that one position... Sorry for that Offcorsa ... But I managed to let him pass on the second turn. At the end I manage to keep the third position again. For the Vive, I will do another post and I hope MinderK will add to it too . PS: Guys, don't hesitate to put a little summary of how the race went for you. This might help the mods make even better balanced races!

Yeah, what a first race. My beginning was a desaster, was kicked out in lap one right at the start *cry. 3 cars are too much in that corner... But im not angry, it was just a flashback to so many public races when idiots do this with intention. And to be honest it took a while to get that out of mind and concentrate only on the road again, because i could not see what was happen, just get bumped off the track. I was either not really happy with my car, was all the time on very low 53 and improved every sessions hundredth or thousendth, and after the race i checked the other car and did a high 51 after 3 laps. But i trust sven that he will manage the balance and the next tracks will be different. And for sure i have time, and i will help test driving all cars if he call me.
But there was a lot fun too, have gotten 2 duels with reddy and he made it really hard for me to overtake. Best one was the first, when i surprised him in the last corner in last lap after hanging behind him for a few laps. o/ Sadly he crashed then at our second showdown. Would like to hear what was going on. In replay i saw him braking and then spinning, was the phone ringing? Or did you really think about to counter in the fast corner and decide against too late? In session 3 i spun for no reason, maybe my concentration was too low at this moment, but i came back and finished 8th. And someone tried to overtake me a bit agressiv two times, this belongs to the fun part for me, because i managed to stay on the road and keep my position. So i think it was a cool race overall and i want do do it again, best would be tomorrow...

Today I had a normal qualifying session. I did not expect much on this track. This is my most hated track.
It's Heat 1 and we are live! I got a crappy start and went to 2nd gear straight. Backed off to avoid crash @ turn 1 but someone kissed the side of my car and I spun into sand like an absolute moron. Then I got to overtake some crashed cars @ turn 3. Later @ last corner of 6th lap, I spun @ last corner like an idiot. Then I got overtaken and my fall begun. I don't what happened with Ivan, Mitoand9 and me @ tightest hairpin during lap 7, all I know Ivan spun ( we both touched though where I was taking that hairpin as slow as 30kmph). Later Christian and I had some great battle ( well at least to me). When I was watching my mirrors, he was looking like he is going to dive bomb me. So, I broke early and moved outside ( see stupidity) then he got me @ last corner @ last lap. It's Heat 2 and we are live! I got a decent start, I know I can't take turn 1 with people around me so I broke early but my car didn't turn properly and went onto sand. After sometime saw both Black1995 and Minder K were behind me, now Adrenaline raises Minder K was right behind me and I held him till 7th lap and someone sent a steam message got distracted and broke late for ( I don't no which one) hairpin and went off track. Later Black1995 was behind me I broke early to ( 4th or 5th corner don't know exactly) get some nice exit but he bumped me lost control not totally though, then my teammate Jonah Hax crashed into me ( to him it was like I crashed into him. See lost control). It's Heat 3 and we are live! I decided to avoid even any tiny crash ( I mean I do every time though but this was different). But in later part of heat Mitoand9 crashed ( I swear I did not involve in his crash) @ turn 2 and he was in my line, Black took outside line and went off track and some on my inside, so, I can't do anything except crashing into his crashed car. Lost my places. I don't remember much apart from the above and crapping myself. I hope Jonah Hax ( my teammate) and I would do something better in the next race 'Tor Poznan'. Good luck everyone! I really don't remember what happened @ that corner XD. I slowed down and lost control. You may see many of these in the coming races. I say you grab some pop corn and watch the show.

Hi everyone, first of all thanks for the fun!
Heat 1: I had a decent start, overtook Vivekananda, but he was still close and took the inside line, we were 3 wide in the first straight and I was exactly sandwiched in the middle (no room for error since helicorsa was giving me red on both sides!). This is where it went wrong. I took the straight slightly wider and hit another driver, we both spun outside the track. I apologyze for this, but it was very tough not to make a mistake when both sides of the track at those speeds were filled. After that I had a good race, from second last I managed to finish 8th. At one point on a certain lap though, I overtook someone (black evora), and by doing that I slightly bumped into him on the side. In that case I also apologyze for the little touch, wasn't intentional, but fortunately it didn't result in any seriously bad consequences. Heat 2: A very lonely heat for me, but was still fun. There was no contact for me which is positive. First lap managed to be clean even though risky as usual since very crowded. Unfortunately I got some snap oversteer in the Esse (chicane), thus ending up in the grass. From there on, it was quite a lonely race, I just let my teammate pass through after seeing he had a better pace. I think I ended 10/14, but not entirely sure. Heat 3: First lap everything was relatively clean, except at the second turn, where I went wide and tried to correct my line. As I was correcting while watching helicorsa I saw someone approaching, but still not on my inside so I continued closing. Unfortunately the red exige quickly reached my position and we slightly touched. He did have the right line at the beginning, then he started going slightly wide at mid corner, right when I was correcting my line by coming back in. In my view it was a racing incident. If I saw him next to me sooner, I obviously would have left room, but it was difficult to judge even from helicorsa, since the indicator became orange/red just as we touched. At the end he lost the most, since he spun, and I'm sorry for that. After that the race continued and at mid-race (I think) I got rammed from behind by a black evora in the first corner. Mistakes are made and I don't blame him for that, but please next time try to choose another line if you see you are too close to a competitor and there's risk of collision during braking. After that it was a tough race, managed to keep 10th and at the Esse (chicane) of the last lap, while I was slighly closing on Vivekananda's teammate (sorry still got to learn names), I saw him countersteering and losing control, thus I took 9th overall if I'm not mistaken. It was a good race overall.

Well, my races weren't very eventful, first heat I managed to squeeze myself past Offcorsa on the second lap, other than that pole to flags. Of course concerns are raised over the Exige's ballast, especially considering the team's 1-2-3's in the second and third heat. Have to say I drove almost faultless, and I feel this track is more about taking corners easy than continuously pushing hard.
More about the ballast as soon as the tests are completed. The cars have been in public for more than three weeks, so it'd be a bit weird if the Exige has this much of an advantage across all tracks. I went for public testing over my own testing procedure this time, so if the Exige is too fast, back to my own testing procedure for the next series Had hoped to be in more battles, but sometimes a safe and less stressful drive isn't to bad neither. Look forward to Pozzy'! A side note: I hope the issue between NRTH and madkingdom has been resolved; NRTH apologized for the contacts; he's been around for a while now and it's not really like him to wind up in accidents of these sorts.

I wouldn't concern too much over ballast, I was having a VERY good night. did a lot of practice laps, still not good enough to keep tabs on you though, but close. I think the VR was very good for jorius as well. and you are always running at the front. this track does suit this car better perhaps than others, pretty sure my times will be mid-pack again next week. had pretty good fun running so well, pressure may have got to me a bit when you were behind me though, made a small error and went slightly wide, wasn't going to argue the corner much since I knew you were faster, and didn't wanna take us both out. BIG no-no. |
