@offcorsa
Sorry for the knocking during breaking for a corner. I was to late, so I cound not prevent touching you, when you closed the door quickly. The second contact was a missunderstanding, sorry for that. Next time we'll make it better. Best regards Jamiri

From mad-rooky with love, snapping a pic of the winning team
Picture by S4b1n, who somehow managed to sneak a camera with a pretty long auto timer into mad-rookies car.

Ye, the car was very pretty. How much time did you take to make it?
Series over. So, teddy bear? I was recording the game with me and wheel cam. But the result is stopping me from uploading

Teddy bear plan is quite hard to realise, especially if we're talking bigger bears. Still haven't heard from the government regarding that municipal taxes refund.. Just upload it man, don't worry about the result

Well congrats to Dark Wolf Competition and Sven, its all yours now...
No seriously, was a pleasure and a good challange and im happy to remind some really great battles. Was a good season and im actually very happy about the results despite i could not win the drivers championship. I tried my best to stop Sven but it wont happen. The car was mostly very fun to drive for me and in the first half of the season it was looking promising. But at the end the fun is most important and a good type of adrenalin. For this race i was not expecting too much, there was only a little chance for me to stand all those Ferraris. Felt a bit lost between them sometimes to be honest but on the other hand i enjoyed very much to tease them with my cute Porsche. The second heat was the most exciting run this time, but i also lost the last chance for the championship there. I dont know how but i managed to keep the second place at the start and hold S4bin and Gears for 4 laps. But in the 5th lap i had a very ugly snap oversteer in the double right "Aque Minerale". Sounds like healthy mineral water but for me this place was deadly^^ Dont drink and drive huh... Im looking forward for the next series but i will miss the start because im not at home for a while. The video from the second heat is already uploading but i dont know if it is ready before i have to go tommorow, i doubt it. But if you are bored now and have not noticed you can see the previous 7 races on my YT chan. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL...yGbLUJxdjm Enjoy and hopefully see all of you in the next season.

Qualifying: I'd not qualified below 6th in this series and knew I was good for a 1:58 at Imola, better if I held it all together. Confirmed this with a 1:57 in Official Practice for 3rd spot. But then in Qualifying it all went to poo and I could only manage a 2:00 for 13th.
Heat 1: Got a good start, overtook one or two, a few fell off and I found myself behind Jamiri, Sven and Offcorsa. Got past Offcorsa only to let him past again when trying not to take out my Team Leader and title contender Sven. Got past him again and Sven got past Jamiri. I piled the pressure on Jamiri but he was driving good and there was no way through so settled for 6th. Heat 2: Got onto the lead train of Sven, mad-rooky, S4b1n & Gears just as mad-rooky had his spin (nothing to do with me) and I was up to 4th. Then I spun into the wall. But this time I didn't panic, dropped down a few gears and found myself pointing in the right direction and away. Trouble was I'd now fallen into the clutches of mad-rooky. I knew I mustn't let him through as that point might be vital to Sven in the individual standings and would give mad-r pole in the next race. But the Ferrari is fast here and I brought it home for 4th. Heat 3: Started on pole and led from start to finish for my first Cosy win. So easy then? No way! I had Gears snapping at my heels for the whole 7 laps. He got alongside once or twice but raced really clean and never tried an over risky move which might have taken us both out. Thanks for that Gears. I think more satisfying than the actual win was that my progress during this season has been such that I could take so much pressure for a whole race and not make a mistake so bad that I let Gears through. Congrats to Sven on the individual championship win, to my team Dark Wolf on the team championship & to Gears for being top AM driver. Finally a big THANK YOU to Sven for organizing a great series.

Here is my POV from races 2 & 3 :-
Please be aware I messed up the sound levels in R2, and cropping at the end Also, I would be interested on opinions of me overtaking Bossy (at last!) in R2 lap 4 I think, at Tosa corner. Looking back at replay last night, I initially felt it was a bit "aggressive", and PM'd Bossy. He hasn't answered so is either pissed or not seen it yet? <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/hJeByxLvHvI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Looks like he drifts by himself halfway the corner? If so, the contact after wasn't avoidable by you, so seems like an ok pass.

Rather the opposite, I started to drift and if you would not have hit me I would have spun around and Jonah Hax would probably also have overtaken me so in other words you saved me. After that I tried to catch up but you were simply too fast for me this time. Then instead I just tried to keep Jonah Hax behind me. |
