Any news on the race? Is it on or not? I should start practicing if it's on.

Important
Testing because of update 1.12 (tire model upgrade Ferrari and McLaren) done. Race is on tomorrow, no changes to ballast nor setups. Practice server also live.

Crew chief found the right words in the end: "what a fuckin waste of time".
Hilight: first 20 seconds of heat 1. If anyone wants to waste their time, too:
Well, I'm glad that one's out of the way. Donington + car that has some issue on fast corners =
Glad with the results though. Also from the team, although qualifying sometimes suggests different outcomes Heat 3 was a bit dirty, since I was purposefully braking earlier in zones where I knew mad-rooky couldn't pass me on exit anyway. The Ferrari felt a bit tired after 5-6 laps in every one of these heats. No practice pays off. Ok, I did touch the cars this week, but not Donington My highlight: scoring the same qualifying time as Mr Chip, then being sorted behind him by AC first, but ahead in the qualifying result screen. The game is the game.
Great racing once again, I don't have any insane moments to photograph, so I might as well reveal my new skin.
I plan on using this for the second half of the season, the weeb cars keep coming. That's all from me, can't wait for Mugello next week!

I have a theory: The 12C has a much longer braking distance than the other two cars; therefor, following the 12C closely results in occasional rear end collisions. Solution: reduce the ballast on the 12C to shorten the brake distances. Sven?
First heat was great! Jonah was hanging right there waiting for a mistake with Chip right behind him. Finished 5th. Second heat was okay, lost two places on lap 1 being cautious to Delof and S4b1n(?) and had Mr Chip right on my tail. And on the last lap, I missed one of the easiest corners, d'oh! , letting Chip by. Finished 8th. Third heat started out very exciting! I got a great launch and was able to get by Delof and S4b1n in turn 1. But S4b1n got caught out by the long braking distance and tapped me into T3. We both recovered and started climbing back up. Thank you to Urlauber for the free pass! Had a bit of a iffy pass by Bossy, not sure if he just didn't see me or was distracted by Jonah. On lap 7, S4b1n caught up and passed me fair and square. But later that lap he let me by, I wasn't sure why at first. Spoke with him in Chat and he gave me back the spot because of the lap 1 incident. Really appreciate it, since you didn't have to. Finished 8th. Not my favorite track, but was fun!

Another mixed week, but have come away with a big smile on my face.
Managed to get home a little earlier, and got 30 mins seat time before qualifying. Surprised (but pleased), to manage a great QT that put me 4th on grid - although it was exactly the same as Sven's! (Who then somehow managed to swap us with his jiggery pokery, sneaky, sorcery etc etc!), so I started 5th for race 1. Went downhill from there though as a few silly mistakes saw me go backwards and Finnish 9th I think. Race 2 was better with some great battles, and I ended up following Dimavika, until he went off course 3 turns from the end of the race to gift me 7th place. (Sorry team-mate ;-)) Race 3 was again a few good battles at the start and managing to get past a few others who had some "love taps" eventually finishing 6th. I would also like to single out Jonnah, with who, I had some awesome close racing for a number of laps in races 2&3. Great stuff mate :-)

Nice racing again.
1st heat most difficult. Bad start from pole, Ed behind me. I felt bad on the brakes in lap 1 and Ed hit me. I saw it coming and nothing happened for me but Ed lost his position to Gears. Sry mate... Then a tense chase with Gears to the end. He was actually faster, in the first half of the race i was struggling and had to block sometimes to keep him behind me. The track isnt very good for overtaking, which helped me to keep 1st place. 2nd heat most successful. Was a nice close battle from 4th into the race. Gears and Sven made both the same mistake in second last hairpin which made it possible for me getting on p2. Congrats to Ed, two yellow Porsche on the top. Bolt Racing ftw o/ 3rd heat most fun. Nice battle with Gears. Seems he lost a bit his rythm, i know he can faster. But its difficult to keep the pace up in traffic, i know how easy you can lose confidence. I faked a dive and he braked too late, so i took him where i actually did not expect it. After that i tried to get Sven, i had some chances and it was very close. But i could not use my little advantage in corners because he is an ice cold badass in races... In total very happy for the result. Next one pls!

I don't think the McLaren brakes too slow though, I am sure it was just a big fail on my part for the bump. Either I went with one wheel on the grass, or I just neglected that it was the first lap and that it was too crowded to keep the same braking points. Again, sorry for the mistake. I learned this evening that I need a car in front to set the pace, otherwise I will underperform heavily in quali. I was very pleased with the first heat. Despite starting last, I managed to work my way up to 8th. Second heat was probably the best. I had some battle with DeLof, and I tried to keep up with him for the rest of the race, hoping for a mistake That did not happen, and even though I felt I was slightly faster and catching up on S1&2, I was losing a lot in the slow corners in S3. All in all, very nice, intense race. Third heat started with a small incident where I bumped into Dimavika in the first lap. Fortunately, he only lost 1-2 positions, but I lost a few more and had to play catch-up the entire race. To my surprise, I even managed to catch him and overtake, and then when I thought the race would end, I gave him my position to acknowledge my fault in lap 1. The hilarious thing was that there was one more lap to go, and I came to a stop right on the beginning of that lap. Luckily I had a good lead on the cars behind, so I did not lose any other position

Donnington! I really like this track, but yes it is not the best for racing. You can only really pass if the guy in front of you makes a mistake. But can we all agree how fucking cool it is to see those fighter jets and passenger planes flying overhead! eg: look in the sky as Urlauber goes round the first hairpin https://youtu.be/qbCa_u2bPYY?t=1h19m10s
Some tough racing yesterday! My qualifying time was great. Got my PB in at the perfect time, started on first row. As rooky said, that bump at the beginning of heat 1 slowed me down and let Gears past. There was a bit of a mess at the first hairpin, a few collisions, but after it all I stayed in 3rd. Raced hard against Sven when he caught up to me, but I let him past with a mistake. I almost got past him to retake 3rd at the first hairpin, going up the inside, but in running him to the outside on the exit of the turn, he had some oversteer and I knocked him slightly, pushing him off track. Gave position back and had to settle for 4th. Heat 2. Only incident, again at first hairpin. Sven had to take avoiding action as to not take me out. I took my normal line, looks to me like you just missed your braking point sven! That let rooky through into second. Heat 3. A small knock from behind lap 1 turn 1 let delof through into 4th. I was waiting behind him for a mistake, which he made after a few laps in turn one. This let me get alongside. It put him off line for the fast left turns, so he couldn't keep it on the track, and I got into 4th. Rooky, Sven and Gears were up the road, but some very consistent lap times caught me up to gears with 2 laps to go. At the first hairpin (again!) on the final lap, I almost overtook the same as I did with Sven in heat 1. I ran him to the outside, but still had to leave room as I had not gotten fully in front. Then his run out of the corner was better. Finished 4th. Btw, that lap time from rooky, 1:40.4. daaaayum! Great racing. Mugello next
