A test event this Wednesday to finalise the cars and test the rolling start procedure (marked red below in race format)! This is necessary because of mixing drivetrains (AWD Audi and RWD Toyota and BMW) and the start advantage the Audi would have which can result in unsafe situations leading up to the first corner.

Maybe's and Out's are appreciated when you're less certain or can't make it. It's appreciated when you provide a reason if you can't make a race; this gives more insight than a simple OUT post. Please make a new post when your status changes.
Confirmed cars for the series:
Audi Quattro
Toyota AE86 Tuned (Japanese Pack)
BMW M3 E30 S1
Latest setup, ballast & restrictor update:
6th June: added 15kg of ballast to Toyota, hopefully improved Audi and Toyota to more stable cars, reduced aero on the BMW.
8th June: further improvements to Audi; more turn in
9th June: even more turn in for the Audi, Toyota setup further stabilised on exit and less unstable entry under heavy braking; Audi gains 20% restrictor (to 60% restrictor), Toyota gains 20kg ballast (to 40kg)
19th June: update to further stabilize the BMW and get the Audi to corner even better
19th June (after series testing): BoP update: Audi from 60% restrictor to 70%, Toyota from 40kg ballast to 60kg
Required tracks for this event:
Laguna Seca
Brands Hatch GP
Race Format:
10 minute qualifying per track
Heat 1: 10 minute race
Heat 2: 10 minute race (top 5 reverse)
Rolling Start procedure: double file (two rows), leading car starts left on Laguna Seca, right on Brands Hatch (in short: start left, stay left; start right, stay right). On formation, the leader slowly builds up speed. You may reduce throttle, but do not brake, maximum speed of 80 km/h/50mp/h. Stay behind the car in front of you in formation, and do not overtake a car that is aside you if you start on the outside. Once the race timer (top of your screen) hits 9:45, the race starts.
