A few pointers for those struggling with these cars:
- brake generally a bit earlier on the heavy braking sections; try gradually releasing the braking into a turn, and practice loading up the brakes a bit (earlier) on the first laps, transitioning to more direct braking on later laps (without cars close in front of you); instant brake release likely causes the lift off oversteer some people are complaining about
- stay off or at least slowly build up throttle on the kerbs on exit
- stay away from inside corner high kerbs that throw you off; you need later turn in on non-flat kerbs
- when spinning, do not correct with throttle which often making things worse; correct with light braking and small steering corrections, narrow down to gaining control
- full throttle out of a corner when you've just spun and got loads of dirt on the tire -> instant spin again
- release throttle for turn in; if you are often still on 30-50% throttle this causes the understeer; it's a 730bhp (or at least 650+ bhp) car, even the slightest of throttle will see that car want to go straight
- try to get a better feel when you accelerate through elevations and don't approach them like you do on straight parts of the track; keep in mind that these elevations change the weight shifting of the car and require more delicate throttle input
All in all, try overdriving the car less; the Corvette (for example) last series allowed that, this is just not as easy to drive, a heavy right foot is no good (which rhymes!).
