For example; if I'm listed on both a Pagani (CAR_1) and a Maserati(CAR_2) and the Pagani is not taken yet, then I cannot join in a Maserati until the Pagani is taken. Which explains why I didn't have any trouble rejoining, as the Maserati was the first car with my ID on it (during original joining Seok luckily joined before me, otherwise I'd have that problem). This also explains why some people couldn't pick their car at the start even though they selected it.
So we (well, I) need to make sure I schedule everybody exactly so there can be no-one swapping at a moment where he could possibly be joining a car which has his GUID (Steam user code) on it, but is not the car he's supposed to be in. Or we need to assign orders of joining with some kind of text code on Discord. EDIT: I've set up a color coding system for this, more on this soon!
For the actual race the GUID for each player should only be on one car right, so we should not have the same issue then? Driving multiple different cars in one race is an edge case I think
