That means MinDer K takes his second consecutive pro and series championship title! Congrats!
Pro-am and Am divisions are still quite close and undecided, but mr_urlauber is looking strong compared to runner-up Offcorsa, where Fragmonkey looks to have stepped up his game after his debut in the All Wheel Drive Aces a few months back, ready to shake off the likes of geraldflysa, Forest Red and SiXxX!
While the team title is almost taken by Team Jake (MinDer K & Offcorsa), FauxTeam do still have a chance. The title dreams of Scimmie Volante Racing are over, they can however still get second. Bolt and Vertigo teams can still make up a lot of ground with a strong final week; their performance in the era where the unbalanced F40 dominated will be dropped then.
All in two weeks, as there will be a small break next week!
Found some time (just go to sleep later) and did the results of Road Atlanta.
Congratulations Team Jake on the second successive team title! This time with pro driver MinDer K, Offcorsa's team pulled of a quality drive, well done!
Offcorsa's also the man to take the semi-pro title, hotly contested but nevertheless an easy prey this time for the Canadian. Congrats! Fragmonkey takes the Am title on his debut season, so it will be interesting to see what the Brit can do in the future!
It was a difficult series with a first the F40 easily dominating, I learned a bit of stuff regarding the setups again, so hopefully next series will be (even) better. Still at least I enjoyed the final three weeks enough to keep racing
Next series will be announced in a few weeks, in between there will be some off season drives!
Daaaamn that's close from 2nd to 5th! Great series Sven, ty. Awesome, challenging cars, really fun to drive. Slight shame about the imbalance, but we got there at the end I think!
I was wondering about the points though. What made you decide to change the points from 50, 48, 46 to 50, 49, 48 a little while ago? Yes, it does make it closer at the end, but we do have dropped lowest scores to account for bad/missed races. Also, it slightly devalues the podium positions.
This scoring system may well benefit most drivers, enabling us to have a better chance against the likes of Minder. But I just wanted to hear your/some opinion on this as we do end up very close in the table.
At the end of the day, it is not really a big deal. I love the close, competitive racing with you all, and that is more important than the points we get.
Congrats to the Minder and Team Jake:-). Close racing was really hard with these cars this season but also a lot of fun and I think very fair overall. I dont have any situation in mind where I felt disavantaged or was angry about someone else. For the next season I will have a close look before on the cars starting behaviour. I dont want to count how many places I lost during all 12 starts but it were a lot . Nonetheless it gave me great practice in close fighting, defending and overtaking:-)...see you next season guys;-).
Damn. I really missed the part where the series ends with race 6 . Good races, nice cars, a few close battles for me along the series. Looking forward to the next series. A pleasure racing with you guys...as always.

Changed it mostly because I don't think the difference in gap suits the ethos of the community and because it causes more tension in the second and third heat for the drivers affected negatively by the reverse grid. When they have to worry less about getting a top three spot I think everyone benefits, especially in the first couple of corners.
